Pennington Partners to Speak at Florida Bar CLE seminar on Practicing Before the Legislature

Pennington Partners Peter M. Dunbar, Marc W. Dunbar, and Samuel P. Bell were recent featured speakers at a Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education seminar for lawyers and non-lawyers wanting to learn about the Legislative process. Topics included an overview of the legislative process, how bills become law, regulation of lobbyists and prohibitions on lobbying expenditures, simulated committee meetings, duties of the Senate, House and Clerk's offices, and debates by legislative staff and former members of the legislature.
