Horton invents new method of delivering emergency glucagon dose

Pennington partner, Wiley Horton, placed First in the national Invent Now Challenge sponsored by The History Channel. Mr. Horton is a co-inventor, with Brian Boothe of Raleigh, North Carolina and Kim Bertron of Tallahassee, Florida, of the invention called, The SimpleShot, a new method of delivering emergency glucagon during a diabetic episode. The three co-inventors were recently profiled on the TV program, Modern Marvels: It Came from Outer Space.
