2008 Who's Who Legal Florida lists Two Pennington Attorneys

Two Tallahassee-based Pennington, Moore, Wilkinson, Bell & Dunbar shareholders are among the top insurance and reinsurance attorneys in the state. According to the 2008 Who's Who Legal Florida, Mark K. Delegal and Steven M. Malono are among premier insurance attorneys in the state.
The guide identifies the top 20 insurance and reinsurance attorneys in the state, noting that those attorneys who topped the list had a proven track record, representing clients on a wide variety of issues relating to insurance and reinsurance law. The majority, including Delegal and Malono, practice in Tallahassee and represent insurance clients before the Florida Legislature, executive branch, and state regulatory agencies as well as concentrating on insurance defense and dispute resolution.
Delegal and Malono were recognized by their peers as two of the top insurance attorneys in the state, according to the guide. Delegal was given very high marks for his insurance expertise and ability to achieve results for his clients. Additionally, the guide notes, he is widely recognized as a leader on the regulatory and lobbying side of insurance issues in Florida.
Delegal has also received an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and was designated a Florida "Super Lawyer" by Law and Politics Magazine in June, and will be included in the 2008 publication of The Best Lawyers in America.
Delegal's practice focuses on governmental affairs, health care, insurance and administrative law. He represents clients before the Florida Legislature and executive branch agencies, with an emphasis on insurance and health care related issues.
The 2008 guide to Florida's top business lawyers calls Malono a quality practitioner, who is known for his expertise with administrative and regulatory insurance law.
Malono's practice focuses on administrative and insurance regulatory law, including insurance company licensing, acquisition, self-insurance, viatical settlements, rule litigation, insurance agent license discipline defense, premium finance, and other insurance related regulation, as well as commercial litigation.
Who's Who Legal Florida was published by Law Business Research as part of their annual international guide to the top business lawyers in the nation. The guide includes more than 400 of the state's leading attorneys noted for their expertise in 24 areas of law.
