Pennington Law shareholder Bill Hollimon appointed to the Florida Elections Commission

TALLAHASSEE  William Bill Hollimon, 48, a shareholder with Tallahassee-based Pennington, Moore, Wilkinson, Bell & Dunbar P.A. has been selected by Governor Charlie Crist to serve on Florida's Elections Commission.

The Commission was created to enforce Florida's campaign finance laws, investigate alleged violations and take disciplinary action against those who violate Florida's election laws.

Hollimon's practice focuses on patents, trademarks, copyrights and includes civil and administrative litigation in areas of environmental, energy, construction, and professional licensure.

I am honored that Governor Crist chose to appoint me to the Florida Election Commission. I look forward to working with Chairman Cruz-Bustillo and the other members of the Commission Hollimon said. I believe the Commission has an important role to play in protecting the integrity of our elections process and I am excited about the opportunity to participate in this process.

After Governor Crist appoints the members for the Florida Elections Committee, the Senate must confirm each of the nominees.

Hollimon is among six others appointed to the Florida Elections Commission by Governor Charlie Crist.
