Pennington attorneys Adrienne Love and Wiley Horton obtain $985,000 judgment on a false patent marking claim

Pennington attorneys Adrienne Love and Wiley Horton recently obtained a $985,000 judgment on behalf of Big Pond Products, LLC against Team Marine USA on a false patent marking claim. An injunction was also entered barring further sales of the falsely marked products.
Ms. Love joined the Pennington Firm in early 2006, and focuses her practice on Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights and General Litigation. Ms. Love received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Rutgers University, where she was a member of the Women's Soccer team. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law.
Mr. Horton's practice focuses on patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and trial work. Although Mr. Horton was not the first Tallahassee patent attorney, he has now built the largest practice in northern Florida and southern Georgia. Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Horton served as a foreign technology analyst in the defense sector. He also performed contract design work for Motorola, Caterpillar, NCR, American Crane, and Siemens. Mr. Horton has received an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system, which represents the highest level of legal ability and ethical responsibility, and has been named in Florida Trend Magazine as a member of the Florida Legal Elite. Mr. Horton has recently been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell as a 2012 Top Rated Lawyer for his work in Intellectual Property.
